The Grand Moon Palace Cancun vs. Iberostar Maya or something else?

Grand Moon Palace Cancun vs. Iberostar Maya (or another option): Recommendations for a family-friendly 4-night stay with kids’ activities

I’m seeking a recommendation that fits these criteria for a family trip:

1) Water park area suitable for thrill-seeking girls aged 5 and 7, with the younger one measuring about 43 inches. Features like slides and wave pools are desirable.
2) Kid-focused activities such as indoor climbing areas, bumper cars, arcades, crafts, and similar entertainment.
3) Abundant, easy-to-find, casual, kid-friendly dining options.
4) Proximity to the airport.
5) A 3-bedroom option (or a suite that includes a rollaway bed).

Beach access is nice but not the top priority; the emphasis is on activities and kid-friendly amenities.

Which destination would be a better fit: Grand Moon Palace Cancun, Iberostar Maya, or another option? I’m also open to locations beyond Cancun if they offer easy direct flights from the DC area. We’re planning about a 4-night stay.

TIA!
