If you could stay at ANY Secrets or Breathless resort for free, which would you choose?

A couple of travel possibilities has landed in our lap: five days and four nights at any participating Hyatt Secrets or Breathless resort, complimentary. I’d love some thoughtful recommendations from the community to help us decide.

Context and constraints:
– Travel window: Flexible dates, no specific timeframe yet
– Travelers: Two adults
– Resort preference: Adults-only
– Budget: Accommodations are covered by a promotion; we’ll handle flights and incidental costs
– Departure city: Washington, DC, with openness to nearby airports
– Destination scope: Anywhere the promotion applies

Current experience and what we’re seeking:
We’re currently staying at Secrets Riviera Cancun, which is connected to Breathless Riviera Cancun. While the property is beautiful, the staff friendly, and there’s nothing notably problematic, the overall vibe isn’t quite clicking for us. The daytime energy feels a touch slower than we’d prefer, and we’re missing a livelier atmosphere.

We’ve toured Cancun frequently and stayed at several resorts, and this might be one of our less favorites. By contrast, we’ve had excellent experiences at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, even at a lower price point, which sets a benchmark for what we’re hoping to find.

What we’re after:
– A balance of gorgeous accommodations with top-tier food and cocktails
– Attentive service, great aesthetics, and a fun ambiance without feeling like a full-on party resort
– A vibe with good music, lively pool scenes, and daytime activities, while still offering moments of relaxation and a touch of luxury

1) If you could pick ANY Secrets or Breathless property, irrespective of location or price, where would you go and why?
2) For those who’ve stayed at Secrets Riviera Cancun or Breathless Riviera Cancun, is our impression representative of the brands, or do other properties offer notably different atmospheres, dining experiences, and overall feel?

We’re not chasing the most expensive option for its own sake. Our goal is the best overall experience and an opportunity to explore a property we might not typically book.
