It’s been a year since I visited Thailand, and I still miss it 💔

Title: A Year Later, Thailand Still Occupies My Thoughts

A year has passed since my trip to Thailand in November, and I still feel a strong sense of longing for the experience. No destination has left a lasting glow quite like this one, even 12 months on.

From the warmth of the people to the infectious energy of the cities, the diverse landscapes, and the remarkable cuisine, every element came together to create something memorable. A standout memory is our time on Phi Phi Island—a serene haven with crystal-clear blue waters that felt almost unreal in their beauty.

If there’s any regret, it’s that we didn’t allow enough time. We found ourselves rushing between attractions and venues, which prevented us from truly savoring Thailand at a slower pace.

My advice to fellow travelers: consider at least two weeks in Thailand, taking things slowly rather than sprinting from one landmark to the next. Explore urban areas, unwind by the coast, indulge in the food scene, witness breathtaking sunsets, and simply soak in the atmosphere.

Sometimes you need a place to escape the usual routine and reset your mind, and Thailand offers that possibility.

It’s remarkable how a single trip can linger in memory for so long. I hope for a future return to explore more of Thailand at a relaxed pace. ❤️

Do you feel the same about Thailand, even long after returning home?
